New Owner

The Mostly Lazy Boys got a vacancy filled today. Alex VonWittkamp has stepped in and taken over the Beer Monsters roster. Alex has been in the MLBL for a couple of years already as a co-owner of the Lynnwood Legacy, so he should be ready to go.

He'll be renaming the team soon. The previous owner was one of the worst in league history... he never bothered to make a single move. In fact, he didn't even make his reserve/farm picks. He left 17 (17!) of those on the table last year. He literally drafted his 25 man roster and that was it. Never made another move. Still, Alex thought it was the strongest open roster.

Several decent looking keepers. The prize is Ryan Franklin for $1 though. He's one of the best keepers in the entire league. He is in his option year though... so Alex can either let him play out his final year at $1, or extend him at $5 extra per year. He also has to decide if he wants to keep Franklin or trade him for 2 or 3 keepers. So, we'll get a good preview of how Alex will run his team.
