Week 3... late

Was away on vacation so missed last week. To catch up real quick...

Hitting
300ab, .243, 8hr, 28rbi, 32r, 4sb

Amazingly bad hitting week. Matt Kemp (7 for 28, 2hr, 5rbi, 6r, 0sb) was good enough to be my player of the week... his second in a row. Lots of goats... lots... but Hanley Ramirez (4 for 22, 1rbi, 1r) is starting to get really frustrating. Pay a guy $50, I expect him to hit!

Pitching
70.1ip, 4.09era, 1.32ratio, 55k, 6w, 0s

For my team, this qualifies as an awesome week. Tyler Clippard (6ip, 0.00era, 0.33ratio, 1w, 0s) continued his hot streak and was my pitcher of the week. I was hoping he'd close after Matt Capps blew up. Capps has been lights out... yet, Clippard has still been quite valuable. A pleasant surprise. On the other side of the coin in Nick Masset (1.1ip, 5er, 6on) continues to disapoint. He gets lots of Ks and has managed to win some games... but he's probably lost his set-up role. Guy has great stuff, but he tries to throw perfect strikeout pitches and that gets him in trouble (over-throwing the ball, nibbling too much).

So... a weird week. Good pitching and well below average hitting. That hasn't happened in a loooong time.
